Mark Santo is an internationalist by definition.

Mark is the rare professional who has served in diverse global executive roles encompassing law, business management, and corporate governance. For his clientele, Mark brings a powerful and dynamic global perspective, fusing this unique skill set into a powerful value-added advisory service.

As an international business executive, Mark has served as the President of US operating subsidiaries of foreign multinationals serving the aerospace & defense industry as well as traditional industrial manufacturing. He has led the entry into North America markets for clients in Asia and Europe though foreign direct investment projects, joint ventures as well as cross border technology licenses.

As an International Lawyer, Mark has served as North American General Counsel of world leading aerospace & defense companies as well as industrial process automation groups, including Leonardo SpA, Elsag Bailey (now ABB), UMBRAGROUP SpA, and the Yokogawa Electric Corporation of Japan. Today, Mark serves as the US General Counsel of the UMBRAGROUP and also a partner in the boutique international law firm of Marco Q Rossi & Associati PLLC where he leads the Firm’s international business practice.

As an M&A practitioner, Mark has served in senior executive role with respect to public offerings upon the NYSE, NASDAQ and European Stock Exchanges. He has led major cross border M&A transactions encompassing the sale as well as the divestiture of multinational enterprises with operations spanning the globe. He has led large scale post-merger integration programs and is culturally adept at integrating foreign management strategy into US operations.

In terms of corporate governance, Mark has served as Secretary of both NYSE and NASDAQ listed multinational enterprises and has served upon the Boards of many privately held companies. Today, He presently serves as member of the US Board of Directors of UMBRAGROUP SpA.

Mark is a frequent lecturer upon international law and business here in the US as well as abroad and has previously served as an Adjunct Professor in the Post Graduate Schools of Law and Business at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Mark is a graduate of Duquesne University School of Law and holds a LLM degree in International & Comparative Law from Georgetown University School of Law as well as certificate in European Law from the University of Florence School of Law.
