Prior to joining MTA Business Brokers, Jim has worked as a Financial Analyst/Senior Consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton, a Fortune 500 consulting firm. Here, he trained over 500 Air Force Financial Managers and Analysts on a new financial system to manage a total President’s Budget of approximately $124 Billion. He created custom dashboards for specific Air Force commands to track and manage status of funds, burn rates, end of month positions, etc.
Jim is proficient in the Finance, Data Analytics, Data Science, and Modeling fields. These interests began during his undergraduate experience at Virginia Tech while working on several projects involving financial forecasts and statistical analysis. His passion grew even stronger when constructing a dynamic cost model for a non-profit organization during his first internship at Booz Allen Hamilton. He has also recently completed a 10-week Data Science 5K Course on SQL, Tableau, and Python to build on his existing data science skills.
Jim graduated cum laude from Virginia Tech in 2019 with a double major in Finance and Marketing. His interests outside of his professional career include playing baseball, golf, guitar, and skiing.
